cambiando la ropa
Hoy he cambiado la ropa de verano por la de invierno. Siempre que cambio la ropa de un armario a otro me paso la mañana pensando en la cantidad de cosas que creemos que necesitamos y realmente no necesitamos, pero creo que esta vez he pensando un poco más fuerte, como a voces, mientras iba doblando jerseys, metiendo camisetas en la bolsa que llevaré al contenedor o poniendo lavadoras.
Supongo que tiene que ver con tres cosas que me han pasado últimamente. La primera es que uno de mis gatos "se ha vuelto diabético". Lo pongo entre comillas porque no sé muy bien qué verbo usar, así que me quedo con la versión transformer del gato. Ahora le pincho insulina dos veces al día y tiene que comer comida bastante más cara. El cambio a peor de agosto a septiembre (cuando descubrí la "transformación") ha dado paso a un cambio a mucho mejor de septiembre a octubre ("transformación II"). Y es adorable.
La segunda cosa es que he empezado el curso de escritura, continuación del que hice el año pasado. Siempre estoy deseando que llegue el jueves. Me paso la semana pensando en el jueves, a las siete. Qué tontería. A sabiendas de que esto nunca será más que una afición, es una afición que llena casi todos los huecos, y descubrirla (casi por casualidad) ha sido genial.
La tercera es que hace un par de semana tuve un pequeño golpe con el coche y ahora mi Ibiza está en el depósito. No fue nada serio, un par de malas casualidades, pero me daban algún dinerillo por él y ya tenía ocho años. Y es curioso cómo te cambia la perspectiva: sólo usaba el coche para ir a trabajar, porque pensaba que tardaría muchísimo en transporte público, pero no tardo tanto (quince minutos más que en coche), me pagan casi todo el abono transporte y aprovecho todo el viaje para leer. En definitiva, maravilloso. ¡Ah! Y 1800 euros de ahorro en no-coche al año.
En todo eso he pensado mientras quitaba las bolitas a los abrigos o guardaba los bikinis al fondo del cajón. En fin, esas cosas que pasan porque sí, a secas, y te hacen pensar en lo que hacemos aquí y ahora. Viene bien cambiar la ropa, al menos, dos veces al año.

Todo eso se ve aun mejor cuando haces mudanza. Siempre me pasa lo mismo: echo pestes de todos esos trastos que tengo que acarrear y decido que "esta vez sin falta" voy a deshacerme de ellos cuando pase el follón.
Del coche me deshice también hace poco y es una liberación. A pesar de los recortes, Madrid sigue teniendo una red de transporte público excelente.
Las mudanzas son muy buen combustible para filosofar un rato sobre lo efímero de la vida, todo es fluir, mientras te pones Betadine en las heridas... ya se sabe: la mesa que te cae en el pie, el tirón en la espalda subiendo esa pesadísima caja de trastos al altillo o los forcejeos con la compi de piso para evitar infructuosamente que se corte las venas.
Cuando se va la policía y friegas la sangre del suelo, te quedas allí, tomando un té calentito y pensando. Hogar dulce hogar.
